We are growing and looking for a dedicated Volunteer Director for our P.L.A.Y. — Purposeful Learning for Active Youth program. This role is ideal for someone who has a heart for children and families and wants to help create a safe, welcoming environment where parents and young children can learn, play, and build strong relationships together. The Volunteer Director will help keep the program organized, support volunteers, and ensure sessions run smoothly while fostering connection and community.
Volunteer Director duties include:
- Leading and overseeing P.L.A.Y. program sessions
- Creating a safe, positive, and family-friendly environment
- Coordinating and supporting volunteers
- Planning simple, age-appropriate play and learning activities
- Communicating with parents and welcoming new families
- Maintaining attendance and basic program records
- Ensuring safety guidelines and child-protection policies are followed
- Providing feedback to help the program grow and improve
